Hello, I'm Jessica

I'm a magical girl who lives in the corporate, 9-5(ish) world. I mix my spirituality with humor and a splash of playful irreverence because I've found that us spiritual types tend to be too serious about ourselves. You likely checked out this page to find out more about me to see if we'd mesh, so here's my story 👇

Through my own journey, I learned that I couldn't truly help others unless I helped myself first.  This led me on the quest to develop that elusive thing we call "confidence".

What I noticed is that many people built their self-worth around what they did or what they acquired. Even those who claimed to turn away from the mainstream focused their energy on who or what they were against rather than what they were for. It felt like both groups put the cart before the horse; expecting that their actions would eventually lead them to a sense of self-fulfillment.

This led me on a path of discovering what I truly wanted in my own life. Rather than focus on circumstances outside of my control, I paid attention to the inner and outer areas of my life that I could change. When I used purpose and passion as the foundation for my actions and focused my energy on outcomes I could influence, I was met with abundance, a sense of inner peace, and a new sense of self-worth.

The key to happiness is understanding that - rather than focus on the expectations of others - we need to follow our dreams and make decisions that are in alignment with who we are meant to be. I made it my personal mission to empower spiritual people who are caught up in the hustle of life to tap into their intuition so they can confidently handle any of life’s obstacles and help heal the world.

This is what I call my Aligned Intuitive Method which I use in Tarot and psychic readings as well as energy healings.

You're in the right place if:

  • You want the clarity of knowing that you are on the right life path and the discernment to know when you are starting to go off-course
  • You recognize you focus too much on what others think of you and want to flip the narrative to center on your own needs and joy
  • You feel trapped by your circumstances and need an outside perspective to help you break free from unhealthy patterns
  • You worry about the unknowns in your life and want to gain the confidence to face what life might throw at you
  • You are ready to do the hard work of figuring out what you want, facing those areas of your life that aren't in alignment, and taking steps towards living with purpose

WE MIGHT Not be good working partners if:

  • You are looking for "quick fixes" to your personal problems
  • You are looking for someone to spy on someone (especially an ex)
  • You want someone to tell you what you should do
  • You are seeking financial, legal, or medical advice (talk to a licensed professional)
  • You need someone to help you deal with mental illness or trauma issues (talk to a counsellor or mental health professional)

About Me

  • My "Big Three" [Sun, Moon, Rising] are Scorpio, Capricorn, and Aquarius; I work hard, live passionately, and dream of big-picture solutions
  • I'm of the "Not Quite Gen X / Not Quite Millennial" generation
  • My pronouns are She/Her and They/Them
  • I was born and grew up in Wisconsin, and now live in Minnesota. My favorite color being purple has NOTHING to do with the Minnesota Vikings. I’m “meh” about sports
  • In addition to my "woo" stuff, I am a business systems analyst for a Fortune 500 company.
  • For fun, I play video games, hang out with friends, and cook massive amounts of food (never learned to cook for just two)

My Story
(The Mundane Edition)

  • Even though I was seriously nicknamed "Swamp Thing" by some of the boys in high school, my luck changed right before I graduated. On Christmas Eve of my senior year, I met an awesome guy online (this was in 1998, before internet dating was cool). 2022 marks our 20th wedding anniversary. We're polyamorous, have additional partners, and are one happy, loving network.
  • I graduated from college right after the "Dot-Bomb" era with a Computer Science degree (worst. timing. ever.) I pivoted and joined a financial services company and have been with them ever since. Each time I grew out of a role, a new position that was my "next step" was available. I've taken on the roles of a paraplanner, financial advisor, wholesaler, and business analyst. Each level-up gave me the experience needed to support my now-former colleagues.
  • Whenever I saw a problem in one of my communities, my brain went "Challenge accepted." I built out the Volunteer Den for CONvergence so that those who supported the convention could have eat a nutritious meal, since the event was at a hotel where local, healthy dining options were scarce. I started a LARP organization because I knew the other groups would have an easier time copycatting what another club was doing versus trying to make internal changes to their policies and culture on their own.

my life could have been very different

If I listened to the high school bullies, I might have believed I was ugly and unlovable and missed the opportunity to connect with the man who became my husband.

If I let myself feel trapped by my circumstances, I might have struggled to find a job right out of college or I might have bounced from one programming job to another looking for something that was the "right fit" for me.

If I didn't step forward and volunteer, I might never have learned skill sets that would have improved other areas of my life or discovered that I do have the power to make a difference in my community.

Rather than play it safe or let others dictate my self-worth, I chose to flip the narrative and center my actions around my purpose. This gave me the freedom to take the leaps of faith needed to make a difference in the lives of others as well as my own.

You have that same power within you, and I can help you find the direction you want to go.

My Story
(The Magical Edition)

  • My first big manifestation was a full four-year scholarship to a private high school. I couldn't have attended that school otherwise. The tuition cost more than the house I grew up in.
  • I started studying witchcraft and the occult while attending a Jesuit university. Taking enough courses on Christianity to get a Theology minor had a different effect than intended!
  • I learned how to read the Tarot because I created a LARP character who used divination. One in-character reading was so accurate that the player thought I was cheating!
  • I "went professional" (reading Tarot for others) because someone else did a reading for me when I was in the midst of some serious life issues and trauma. Being on the client side of the table showed me how I could use my own spiritual gifts to help those want assurance that the future is positive, or at the very least manageable.
  • After reading the cards for hundreds of clients, I noticed that many seekers went me to verify what their own intuition was telling them. This led me to teach others how to read the Tarot so that they could gain the confidence to use their own spiritual gifts.
  • Even though I integrated messages from Spirit in my Tarot readings, I didn't see myself as "psychic" until a colleague dared me to do a reading for her WITHOUT the cards.

Our lives are a mix of the magical and the mundane

Some might tell you that there's a difference between the spiritual and the everyday.

I'm here to tell you there isn't - they are both interconnected! Leading a spiritual life is more than feelings and beliefs. It's about taking deliberate action every single day.

Using my Aligned Intuitive Method, we work together to identify what the Universe wants you to know about your purpose, identify your passions, and show you how different decisions impact your personal journey and ability to make a difference in the lives of others.

Let's troubleshoot your life with a mix of mystical and everyday tools.
